Swing Dance, May 11

Next up, I’ll be singing with the Demetrius Steinmetz Band at the Lakewood Masonic on Friday, May 11.   It’s a Get Hep swing dance.  The cost of the dance is $12 per person or $10 for students and seniors with a valid ID.   There is a free, easy jitterbug lesson from 8pm to 9pm.  Immediately after the lesson (at 9 PM) the band will play until 12 am. Everyone is welcome and there is no need to have previous dance experience or a dance partner.

I will be singing with the Dave Kasper Quintet on Fat Tuesday, February 21 at Salmon Dave’s in Rocky River.  We’ll be swingin’ some New Orleans style jazz and blues in the bar from 6:30 to 10 pm.
